ISKCON Barasat
A beacon of spiritual light in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal
ISKCON Barasat
ISKCON Barasat began its sacred spiritual project in 2017, inspired by the mission of Srila Prabhupada to spread Krishna consciousness everywhere. By the blessings of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna and the sincere service of devotees, the center has grown into a vibrant community of devotion and compassion.
Today, ISKCON Barasat lovingly nurtures 26 Bhakti Vriksha groups, where families gather to chant, study scriptures, and strengthen their spiritual foundations. Guided by 15 dedicated teachers, the community also runs 12 Krishna-Balaram Schools, providing education rooted in both values and devotion. More than 250 students are being cared for with affection and spiritual nourishment.
Alongside this, over 100 enthusiastic youths are offering their dedicated seva, spreading the message of bhakti through knowledge of Bhagavad Gita and prasadam distribution, and various community services. By Krishna's mercy, the project continues to transform hearts and inspire countless souls toward a life of purity, service, and divine love.
